Samoa Airport Weather Monitoring Stations

Our newly designed weather monitoring enclosures are in place at Fuailoa international airport, Samoa.

These IP66 rated enclosures have been custom manufactured to ensure frangibility requirements are met – Designed to sheer away under impact to comply with Internation Civil Aviation rulings, whilst still being strong enough to withstand the wind loadings one would expect at Fuailoa airport.

MetService has been adding an increasing number of weather monitoring equipment across New Zealand and the Pacific, designed to record and forecast weather events, helping them warn people and save lives in the event of extreme weather.
